Gaëlle Anne Fouéré

Gaëlle Anne Fouéré is a French consultant, working for several United Nations organisations (including UN Women and the World Health Organization), particularly their publications/language departments, offering writing-editing-translation services. She graduated from three universities (Paris- Sorbonne and Lyon University in France, Bilgi University in Istanbul) in journalism, Arabic-French translation and cultural management, and she worked previously as a journalist in France and in Egypt. Her contributions included the French newspaper Le Monde and the BBC website. Currently based in Cairo (Egypt), she also lived in Turkey (Istanbul, Gaziantep), Switzerland and France.

Her passion for Arab cultural heritage and her empathy for people contributing to resilient societies led her to start volunteering at Nefes Foundation in September 2021, supporting mainly fundraising processes, but also communication and promotion activities.
